"Intelligent Panorama" and "Intelligent View" are two sports software applications designed for analyzing pitch and field sports such as soccer and rugby.
By capturing the entire field, these video materials alone enable the calculation of specific players' performances and can be used to analyze team tactics related to formations. Additionally, they utilize AI-based image processing technology to automate player detection and tracking analysis.
Intelligent Panorama
By using the panoramic video generation software "Intelligent Panorama," there is no need for camera tracking or manual recording of gameplay.
The field can be filmed using two cameras, automatically generating a panoramic image that covers the entire area.
This generates a comprehensive panorama of the whole pitch, allowing for reliable measurement and analysis of all players and the ball.
Issues with Traditional Filming Methods
When using conventional consumer-grade cameras, the field of view of a single camera is limited. Therefore, to capture panoramic video of the entire field, one either needs dedicated equipment to shoot the whole area or cameras capable of simultaneous omnidirectional shooting, such as omnidirectional cameras.
The former requires specialized equipment and is very expensive, while the latter only captures the entire area from a distance, making both players and the ball appear too small and unsuitable for video analysis.
Furthermore, although recent advancements in smartphones and other devices make it possible to take panoramic photos, shooting panoramic videos remains difficult.
Product Features
This software includes a panoramic image generation function and a panoramic video generation function, which can generate a panoramic video based on the left and right halves of footage captured by two cameras, as shown below.
Intelligent View
By using the video playback software "Intelligent View," you can freely view videos, including zooming in and out, changing playback speeds, and adding tags.
● Zoom Function
This function allows you to easily zoom in and out of the playback area using a mouse, enabling you to view the scenes you want to watch at a larger size from within the overall panoramic video.
● Tagging Function
This function allows you to insert tags onto the progress bar so you can easily revisit scenes of interest at a later time.
● Player Tracking Function
With this feature, when a player moves out of the zoomed-in frame, the display range automatically adjusts to match the player's movement, allowing for continuous tracking.
